GGSVM SUMMER CAMP (2016)

Summer vacations are the pattern of indelible, the words unshatterable from one’s life. The various Summer Camps held during the vacations are the independent experience that shape’s one character and life. It is a controlled and safe environment where children and youth are able to make their own decisions about simple and important things in their lives.
Today the world needs the next generation to be more tolerant of each other’s views , ideology and beliefs. Summer camp is an opportunity for children to be exposed to the best of human character. Carefully selected role models are dedicated to show the children how to have fun, learn from others, make friends and also learn the skills of communicating with others.

Summer Camp allows the students to explore their inbuilt skills and learn new and different things of their interest. It also allows the students to meet people of different Race, Culture and Socio economic level.

A summer camp gives the students a chance to practice the best they can be and also long summer vacations is the only time when the Intellectual growth, Talent and Creative skills can be polished among the children. So keeping all these important aspects in view a Summer Camp was organised in the Summer Vacation (June, 2016).

The activities in which the students participated included :-

Bhangra
Yoga
Aerobics
Folk songs
English Conversation
Art & Craft + Painting
Snacks and Salad making
Martial art (taekwondo , shotgun karate)
Vedic Mathematics Classes
Gatka
Indoor and Outdoor games like Cricket, Volley ball, football, Badminton, Basket Ball, Chess, Table Soccer, Carrom

The students from classes 1- 10 took part in the above mentioned activities and improved their creative skills by making beautiful Art & Craft paintings and also gained a lot of knowledge about various Physical and Mental activities. Overall the summer camp was a great success and the students from all the classes took part in the different activities with great enthusiasm and enjoyed each and every moment of the summer camp which will be helpful for them throughout their lives.
